Star Trek™: Voyager - Elite Force

Brilliant...

I just about died of delight when I saw this and EF2 show up on Gog - still one of my favourite fps games ever! It's like playing an episode from the show. I remember geeking out being able to wander the ship. If this was created today, it wouldn't be so faithful to the source material, but somehow Raven managed to make an fps in the Startrek world, and still keep it ever so Trek. Big thanks to the developer/writer who posted a review of his own game on here!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Just a great game...

I can't say I've seen a lot of bugs (as others have mentioned) having played a patched up version, but there are some crazy ones still! Sometimes in this game things go hilariously wrong or just work unrealistically. That said, this is one of the best games I've ever played. It really is like escaping into a different world, with a brilliantly written story, moving soundtrack and stunning visuals. It's just a totally unique experience. The weird glitches really do take you out of that world, but that's mainly because everything else is so engrossing. Buy it - you'll have a great time.

Severance: Blade of Darkness

An incredible game...

This game made every other hack and slash at the time look terrible. I've waited years to play it again, and now GOG has delivered. Don't pass this one up.

System Shock® 2 (1999)

Amazing...

This is why I originally signed up to gog. SS2 is like a fine wine. It has nuances, but the game left a taste in my mouth after finishing all those years ago, that is yet to be rivaled. It is thick with atmosphere and as interesting throughout as a sci-fi game can be. This game should be on everyone's gaming bucket list. If you haven't ticked off finishing it, do so now. If you have, you'll know it's worth playing again.
