A mediocre game which got tainted for me when GOG did a uPlay and messed up my cloud saves.
Mafia 2 is really good. It was originally developed to mimic GTA as close as possible but because of time/budget constraints the Czech guys had to settle for a more linear game. There are remains in the game which prove that the scope was originally much bigger. Nevertheless the game feels mostly complete. The story is really engaging with great characters. The world is fairly detailed. Visuals still look good after 7 years. Music is obviously awesome, all the right tunes from the era. I played it through which is a rare occurrence so the length is just right. The price ($50 atm) is rather high but with the heavy discount it is more recommendable. This game might not be too similar to the first or the third game, because of its more narrative focused nature, but in the end that might be a good thing in the end.
