Firewatch

A walk in a park

Thankfully It's not a climbing simulator? Yeah, there is a lot of climbing, and spelunking in this game - which is not a bad thing after all! I also love the story, especially "the conversations" - the whole thing feels really natural. The crime mystery in the background keeps you going forward, and it reminds me of the best TV series. The graphical style is not for everyone, but for me it felt good, and it was a real pleasure to explore.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

My first walking simulator ever

...and what a simulator it was. If you love walking around, exploring places, and meanwhile enjoying a really good story - this is a game for you. However this game is an epitome of Walking Simulator, so it has all the good, and bad qualities of it. If you're like me, snooping for stuff under every rock you'll be happy, otherwise...

Gone Home

One of my favourites

A creepy house, with a mystery hidden inside. However some of the things are not what they seem. I liked the story, it felt realistic for the most of time which is a very important thing for a story-driven game. As for the game itself, well it's a walking simulator so don;t expect too much excitement :)

Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition

A lovely, little survival horror story

I own it on Steam. A survival horror - yes, but told from a new perspective. Is it all a dream? A vivid imagination of a little child? Who knows? It took me around 4 hours to finish, and it was worth it.
