I remember this game being very rewarding, but very hard at the same time. The other title this game is known under, "Relentless Twinsen's Adventure", is very appriopriate: this game really can be unforgiving. On one hand, after you die, you just respawn, but lack of clear saving points and the necessity of repeating the same actions over and over again is frustrating, especially when dying is so easy... But the vast, organic world, filled with vivid characters, make it worth playing to the very end. I remember how invested I was in the characters and the plot, and I wish I had time and determination to go through that journey again now :)
