The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition

One of the best!

One of the best (western) RPGs made. Same league as: DeusEx 1, Kotor 1/2 , Oblivon , Skyrim, Fallout NV, System Shock 2, Witcher 3 If you like one of the above give Morrowind a try, maybe install some mods and give it 2-3 hours to get used to the fighting ( it is not as bad as people tend to say, just different in the beginning and nearly the same as Oblivion at the end).

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition Deluxe

Best TES ( with Morrowind sharing #1 )

Not dumbed down like Skyrim and not (too?) oldschool like Morrowind and LOTS of mods an nexus. If you like Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Western-RPGs oder Sandbox-Games: Get this:

System Shock: Enhanced Edition

Good game- sadly publishers is an issue.

The game itself is charming and a milestone. You can see it as a predecessor of the Thief-Series, DeusEx (the first) and BioShock. Manipulating and acting with and within the world / levels are quite amazin for a game of that age. The enemies and (if you like to have it enabled) the time pressure is challeging and will give you quite some fear and feel of loneliness. Graphics are very dated, if you cant handle that maybe better get System Shock 2 or Bioshock instead. Sadly I just read about that whole "System Shock Portable" Stuff and about what the new Publisher "Nightdive Studios" did. The same guys own System Shock 2 now, as well as Turkok and want you to pay 20 (!) Euros for the first Turok. I don't think one should support such business strategy, sadly they already got my money. After all its your choice and if you can handle the graphics and the publisher or you already played Thief 1/2, Deus Ex 1 or SystemShock 2 / Bioshock and liked that games you should watch some youtube videos about it or give it at try immediately.
