Underrail should get more praise. It is very underrated and is one of the most complex RPGs I have played (in a good way). It has advanced gameplay, various builds, nice atmosphere and of course nice plot! And I really like its hardcore and punishing gameplay especially in higher difficulties. Liked its music too, but it should have more soundtrack since it is a large game. The developer also is very talented and really cares about his project since he constantly updates and patches the game!

Shadowrun is a very underrated setting. While it does not use the strict ruleset, this trilogy is devoted fully in the setting, and I confess that it has one of the most amazing mechanics, plot - missions ever seen in an RPG game (and trust me I have played countless) I hope Harebrained Schemes continue making Shadowrun games, they have proven that they are the (only?) worthy!

I prefer it than the popular HoMM III because it has more realistic battles, vivid plot, its 3d narrative and cutscenes were amazing and of course its unique 3d towns :) - and personally while HoMM III soundtrack was amazing, I prefer V’s because it feels more epic!

There is a saying that “if something is perfect, then why change it?” That happened with Gothic 3! While we had the masterpieces Gothic 1 & 2, the developers gambled and tried to copy some successful rpgs games by western studios, but unfortunately failed miserably! Gothic 3 has not the spirit of the previous games, it is just a general-bland RPG game, with poor (main) plot, most npcs were boring and the while the world was very large in many situations if felt uninteresting (quantity vs quality). To make matters worse I was one of the many that played the initial versions of Gothic 3 which was a buggy mess and it felt like torture to play it! Now with all the patches and extra contect it is a good RPG game, (not a good Gothic game) so instead of 2 stars, I put 4

Gothic 2 Night of the Raven is the best 3rd person RPG and simultaniously the most underrated because for some mysterious reason it did not get enough presence to the West (propably weak marketing reasons - remember that Piranha Bytes & Jowood were small companies without enough funds) however they put to shame many other AAA gaming studios in their time with this masterpiece! Furthermore I really like its strong community and the hundreds of succesful mods that were made by the community!

Gothic 1 was the inspiration of many modern games with punishing gameplay and grim atmosphere. In fact that's the characteristics I liked in Gothic 1. The fact that you are a nobody imprisoned and slowly you gained allies and strenght to defeat the surrounding threats. It really offered a unique experience! Moreover it is very underrated in the West and is very popular to Germany and eastern Europe (like Poland, Russia etc)
