I avoided this title, thinking just wait until it was working well. I heard about the various 1.5 patch fixes, and then waited for subsequent patches before pulling the trigger. I don't listen to people's negative reviews, or complaints; I make up my own matter on games - with just one criteria..... "Is the game fun to play for me" I had no expectations whatsoever, having stayed well away from the marketing train hype station; honestly what I played yesterday was a truly amazing and well polished RPG. The gunplay is surprisingly well implemented. There are some well thought out hacking abilities to embelish, or focus your playstyle on, and to be honest, a story that I have thoroughly enjoyed for my 1st hour / 2 playthrough. Forget what you've been told. Shed your expectations, and widen your perspective, because this is a gem waiting for you to find it. I can't wait to continue my adventures... I just need to make sure I balance real life, and don't let this become too much of an additiction.
I just fired it up now after buying it a year ago, and wow, just WOW! I played the 1st one, and loved it, but this feels more polished, better for beginners, and just a better story - I am excited to see how it goes...
