The 1st chapter was not too interesting because the story was slow to figure out and the rooms all looked gloomy. But if you can hang on until chapter 2, you may find the game reasonably entertaining. There's a few timed puzzles but they're not too hard once you understand the logic. For me, this meant consulting a walkthrough. Visually, this game reminded me of Goetia except that it's played exclusively with the keyboard.

The game is difficult because it's easy to die and jeopardise the endings. But the sci-fi story is intriguing. That's why I played the game with the walkthrough so it was an interactive movie experience for me. Now I need to find a copy of the book of the same name.

Interesting investigation and historical background if you know a bit about French history. But I didn't enjoy puzzles. Some are too difficult and clunky and I often referred to the walkthrough. And then there's a whole series of timed puzzles. I think there's a warning about epilepsy in the manual. If you suffer from vertigo, you may also want to give this game a miss.
