I will admit, when I first saw this replaced the original PS:T in the store, I was agitated. The price went up and it seemed to be just the original game with mods attached. When I relaxed and found out everything that was done for the game, I went ahead and purchased it. First, you can easily go into the game and start playing without having to worry about anything, as it's fully patched up for modern machines. Second, it's still the original story with nothing changed or added..which if you know the story you *know* it needs nothing. Third, it's now on every platform that I want it on. I picked it up on Google Play, and it is a family library game, so it is now on every Android device we own. I even setup an auto sync with GDrive between my tablet, phone, and laptop so I can just keep playing the same game. It runs super smooth on Windows 8.1, as well as the Pixel. A bit choppy at times on Tab S2. Haven't had a chance to test Linux yet, or Mac OS. I haven't heard much of the audio yet, but the little I have heard sounds great. The game plays best on here of course(PC), as to be expected. Black Isle is credited, and the game is still the same amazing one. This game is such a gem, I really hate to see it get low reviews simply because of the company that did the remastering. Let's just rate the game for what it is, as it is the only version available now.
