I played this on the Commodore 64 back in the day, and it was a fabulous game. It was also a game way ahead of its time being one of the first "stealth" games, although stealth wasn't always the main goal for every mission. You're a lone soldier sent to complete a mission from taking out an enemy bunker to freeing POW camp behind enemy lines. All you have is your trusty knife, grenades, and carbine. Some missions let you carry a LAW rocket or a time bomb. You'll find yourself sneaking behind enemy lines trying to avoid bunkers or guards. Sometimes you can only take out the guards with a knife which requires crawling down ditches to approach them from behind or you just take them down quickly before they call in help. Most missions require you to start at a point and traverse various obstacles to get to your objective and then to your rendezvous point for pickup. Your soldier earns rewards and ranks between missions giving it a slight RPG feel to the game.
