I really wanted to like this game since everyone seems to like it, but once I started to play, I found the controls to be "counter intuitive" at a level that I did not want to play more than 15 min. I just could not enjoy the game because of it.
##Spoilers## Up to now, it is seriously painful to play the game, I do not enjoy it at all. Switching from one area to another can take up to 2 minutes of waiting and that is with a very good PC. During the beginning of the game, you end up outside and you get into a train, which at one point, is starting automatically. Thinking that it was a trap, I reload a quick save but only to see the same train continuing to go further in the distance with no option to get on it. Oups, it was important, but no matter what I try, I cannot end the first quest. So I manage to get back up on the tracks, I run all the way to that same train that seems stopped at another station and then "pouf", the screen changes and only then the first quest is over and you can start quest number 2. Not having found this, I would have walk endlessly around not being able to go any further in the game. For now, I just stopped playing because it is no fun at all.
I really loved the game, I put in 152 hours of gameplay and you can replay and chose different scenarios, outcomes etc... Where I did not like it is the DLC's. Again, they are super fun but at some point you reload a saved game and it is impossible to have a dialogue with NPC's or interact with an object. You have to quit the game, close the GOG client, restart everything and it works... one time ok, but after about 15 times while I am in one of the DLC... very annoying. And then you finish them both, but they tell you to go do the DLC like you did not do anything. It was like that all the way to the end... but I did do both of them. POSSIBLE SPOILER HERE: At the end of the game, the last conversation, an important NPC tell you that you have ruin everything because you did not do that "DLC", even if I did do it and I was very careful not to mess everything up. Conclusion: it was very fun, but one possible ending was ruin because of that, so 3.5 out of 5.
I got the game about a month and half ago and up to now there is no killer bugs that keeps me from enjoying the game, just little glitch here and there and it crashed only once in more than 127 hours of game play. The only thing is that sometimes the quick save does not seem to work but I just save manually. My specs amd 3700x, rtx 2060 6GB, at high and it runs very smooth at 1080p 60FPS no overclocking. P.S. Take your time, go explore, take it easy, don't do the main stories too fast, I think I must be between 30-40% of the main story done and there is still a lot more side mission to be done.
At first I was very happy with the game, it reminded me of Fallout 3, which was my favourite game of all time. I usually do a little bit of the main mission and a little bit of the side one. But suddenly "POUF" the game is over. I will not spoil the game for everyone but it was waaaaaay too short to my taste. So in term of quality of game it would have been 5 stars, but because the game is so short, I give it only 3 stars.
