It was fun, but comparing to the original it is missing something. Remake feels more like a set of scenes, loosly connected, unlike the original. I also prefer the original characters - the new Paulie is really difficult to like, while the old one was one of my favorite characters ever. Same with Don and Frank. Acting is great, but the old characters were more realistic for me. From the other hand, all extensions in the plot, this additional context and depth really adds to the story. It is good game, different for the original Mafia for sure.

I've played around 20hrs and the game started to be boring: - 1st level is too easy, too empty. It is literally wasting time in hope for some good findings,, - 3rd level becomes interesting, but immedately becomes too difficult. - game also could give more hints - hidng everything from the player wasn't fun even in the '90. I don't feel or see any progression. There should be more chances to modify the wands and experiment with perks. Somehow I've been expecting game more like Liero, Lemings and Soldat (the last one especially when it comes to combat). Don't get me wrong - Noita is fun, but I have feeling like the developers had the idea to play with physics, and released proof of concept.

I wouldn't buy it again - very repetative and too random to plan anything, eg. trying to get achievement which requires certain opportunieties to appear during the game. In few games it didn't happen even once. With that level of repetiveness it should at least involve some strategic planning or the games should be much shorter to better see the meaning of tiny decisions. After +5 hours I don't see any point of playing it. It's just time consuming clicker.
