This review will mostly focus on a specific issue I got with the game because other will put out better extensive reviews anyways. The game itself is very good and delivers everything you expect from a Trine game: - gorgeous art and soundscape - puzzles which can often be solved in multiple ways - the most sophisticated boss fights of the series yet - lots of hidden secrets - satisfying skill progression, which opens new ways to tackle fights and puzzles So would I recommend the game? Yes, especially if you like active puzzle games and/or are looking for a fun coop experience with your friends. With that said, there is one big caveat I feel I need to voice because it can dampen the enjoyment of the game despite all its positives and that's the camera and/or field of view, especially in coop. For some reason the camera doesn't only move with your characters but with the other characters as well. This often leads to issues like making it difficult to hold objects in place or not being able to see critical parts of a puzzle/fight. This is especially annoying when some puzzles in coop are meant to be solved with two players at different locations, yet you can't even see your character because the camera view is somewhere else. I sincerely hope they don't repeat this in the next installment. Another side note: A problem, which further adds to this issue for me personally is that I'm one of the handful of people who still likes to play on a 5:4 monitor. 5:4 is "supported" but the UI is often outside the frame, making it impossible to use. Putting it on 16:9 only works in windowed mode. 16:9 on other modes squeezes the view and give me black bars on the right side (it simply does not work as intended).
