Prison Architect

It's a 5 stars no questions.

I've had the game for a while, and I juste _have_ to give it 5 stars, seing the new updates years after it came out. The new expansion looks awesome, and the game is getting constant updates and attention, ontop of being moddable. I've made huge prisons without noticeable bugs and must've played a hundred hours. It's one of these game that you never get tired of rediscovering from time to time, and lose a weekend playing it before you realise it. One of my favorite sim games ever.

Cultist Simulator

Very original

You have to know what you're getting: a game which seems to be the puzzle in itself; slowly figuring things out is part of the fun, and although I feel I haven't gotten very far, it's terribly addictive and I can see myself playing alot more until I can figure out how to at least summon anything or figure out what the freaking "bird/worm" setting does. I wish the extensions were included or at least that the game didn't tell you "you have to own this extension to use this card", it's not very immersive.

Blood: Fresh Supply

Nice port

I owned the original which is a masterpiece, my favorite soundtrack in a video game I think! Bought the remake for controller support for casual sessions, not disapointed , -50% discount taken into account.

Into the Breach

Awesome game

This game gets it. I just played Xcom 2 and was extremely frustrated by the unfair randomness and artificial permadeath. Into the breach does RNG and permadeath perfectly, just as in FTL. The concept is great, the game is amazing to play especially on a gamepad (little details) and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. BUT one star missing because, on a high DPI screen laptop, the game completly drains the GPU as there is no adjustable resolution?! I have to run the game in 640x480 using windows compatibility settings or my laptop turns into a scorching hell. I hope I'm wrong but I've looked for a fix and didn't find any. Also would be nice to have maybe one more island, but it's nitpicking at this point.

Gemini Rue

Best Wadjet Eye game I've played so far

I began playing Wadjet Eye games with the Blackwell series and thought they were pretty nice. But this one tops them all. I was going to give it 4 stars because the interface is a little clunkier and some puzzles are very frustrating for nothing, but the last act of the story is worth the extra star. It's straight out of a Philip K Dick novel, and alot like Beneath a Steel Sky in the atmosphere, with less goofiness. Worth playing until the end!

Blood: One Unit Whole Blood

Amazing all around

I was expecting just another decent fps in the Shadow Warrior/Duke Nukem style, but Blood really stands out with its style, the music is a-ma-zing, the level design is (thank god) intuitive and diverse, better than Duke Nukem or Shadow Warrior in my opinion, you always know where to go and the levels are fun to navigate. The game is gore and intense but doesn't take itself seriously, it seems to poke fun at the genra while executing it perfectly. Just fun all around, and on finishing it, I just wanted to start all over again immediately. The weapons are diverse and actually fun to use, it's sadly become rare to switch weapons just for fun, and not for efficiency, in modern fps. Must have!
