I paid 5€ for this, and I regret every cent. No story, jus a moralizing, holier-than-thou narration while walking forward and hitting a button to progress dialogue. Do not support this garbage.
I was incredibly excited for this game. The first installment was one of the best RPGs that I had played in a VERY long time. But then the modern politics kept creeping into what was supposed to be a medieval setting. Total and complete immersion break. I just want to play games and have fun. Why do studios force this garbage on us?
This game is fine.
Everything you could want from a twin-stick shooter. Snappy controls, good weapons, and solid levels. Buy and enjoy!
I am having a blast running through this again! There are some weird bugs (rarely), but overall this game is a great throwback to how things should be. Guns, hot chicks, and comic-style action. I picked it up for $4, but now it's $3 on mega-sale. Do yourself a favor and get it!
I loved this game when it first came out. I played it endlessly on my PS. However, the controls are clunky on PC, and everything just feels sluggish and awkward. Still decent, and worth some nostalgia. But don't forget to take off the rose-colored glasses first.
The first 3 are fun, but clearly breaking new ground as games. V is just hot garbage of new graphics and circle-jerking devs. IV is the balance of great mechanics, good UI, and flawless gameplay.
