Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition

Beautiful, original, frustrating

This game is all of the above: beautiful, original and frustrating. After a cinematic intro, you are immediately thrust into a beautiful alien world whose rules you don't understand, but which you are going to learn the hard way. There is a different way of getting past each creature or obstacle you encounter, and the game never gets dull, surprising you at every other step. However, viewed through the eyes of a today's gamer, the game can be insanely hard in some places. Back in the day, you enjoyed going through the same screen again and again, trying not to get shot for the fiftieth time, but today, this can get frustrating quite fast. Nevertheless, through all the teeth gritting, I want to hear an applause.
