This game has all the right things an rpg should. An overworld full of secrets. Dungeon crawling galore. Deep character customization. Challenging turn-based combat. Loot out the wazoo. Graphics that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I have to say i love torment difficulty, ( then again i'm a sadist ), but the option to adjust difficulties in mid-game is fantastic. All in all if you love rpgs with an old school flair, you will enjoy your time in Avernum.
