the games starts off by trapping you in a town for 10 hours, where you have to complete meandering fetch quests trying to solve a murder mystery. it's like the developers wanted the player to memorize every tiny detail of this little crapburg before they'd be gracious enough to allow the player to actually play the game. would get a refund on this, if i could.
Open world illusion, linear as your grandpa's prune-filled poop. World design does not match with story narrative, multiple characters will talk about people and places that don't exist as they should, logically, or simply don't exist at all. Wasteland 2 becomes a slog back and forth, playing 'find the plot point', or it's a 'play along with a wiki guide' game. Don't bother.
