I really loved this game. The survival horror elements, the absolute STYLE, and the stories of the characters are all so great. I loved helping all my friend's relationships...except one...that jerk!! I will be playing to get other endings but I was so happy with the Chamuel ending- that I chose thinking it would be going to the 'dark side' so to speak- but I ended up really liking that ending....it was kinda sweet
I have played for a few hors now and really love it so far. The world and atmosphere are great and the story is intriguing. The puzzles are interesting and engaging but not so obscure that I get stuck for ages (or until I look it up). The only complaint I have is that sometimes the interact prompt is a bit confusing-it'll say pick up when it means interact quite often, but thats not a big deal. This is a reat game
This is one of those games that I have played probably a dozen times and would play it again right now. It is so enjoyable. Sure there's a lot of sneaking parts in the game but it fits this game style so well. The world is crafted wonderfully with a full set of creatures and races to populate the worlds. It continuously pushes you forward in the game but leaves you time to explore if you want and I've never really caught myself thinking, "ugh more of this?" There is always a new game mechanic to keep things interesting at the right time. I don't know why this game didn't do that well, but take the critics word for it on this one, it is an amazing game.
One thing I should say first off, I dont like metal that much, nor do I like the RTS/strategy type games which is what this game is all about. I LOVE THIS GAME! Its a game that made me smile and laugh when I didnt feel like it. The writing and Jack Black's presence saved this game. I love the style and world. The hack and slash gameplay is funtastic and the RTS type bits were even enjoyable. I played this game all the way through because it was fun and I couldnt wait to see what new fun parts were coming. And the story was just the perfect mix of humor and seriousness. Get it naow :)
