For me on win 7 the game crashes about every 5-10 minutes. Some levels I had to try 5 times, because the game died right before the boss. The main menu or the shops kill the game in under a minute. Lowering graphics to minimum and windowed mode helped a tiny bit. Otherwise it would be a nice little game...

This is a nice little game, but after around 5 hours I have opted to search for solutions online rather than in my head. Played around 10 hours and I had to read help / get clues around 20-30 times. There are many puzzles which are impossible to solve for normal humans without help...

because controlling your troops in very difficult, and even in the first campaign they get absolutely hammered by big enemy monsters, I gave up. I see the potential, but for me, it just gets too frustrating. Also - the enemy attacks as soon as the map starts, so I don't have time to order my troops into a defensive position, before they get ambushed, so the heroes may killed with one attack from the enemy as I can't move them out of harm's way fast enough. As someone above mentions, there are no cut-scenes. I can't save during battle, only on the map.

this game is very hard lot of timed jumping, which shift one's attention from the puzzles it took me about 11 hours and 800 deaths to finish. i had one technical issue. the sound and the game go choppy after playing for 15-30 mins. restarting the game cleared this. (it may be bc of my 5 yo PC)
