This game took me 12 hours. I had one major bug at the north part of the garden area (dogs and cages), where I fell through the floor and died. Tried this a few times, but could not finish that puzzle... (Not a game breaking bug.) Also, map names didn't show correctly. Other than these, no bugs or crashes. The game gives you a lot of loot for upgrades and healing. I gathered 18 hearts by the end. Because of this, the bosses were challenging, but doable. The zapper is the best. It has a decent story with some cutscenes. It has some interesting puzzles. Some areas are locked at first, that may give some info about the world or loot or a heart. The DLC continues the story, so I think it is worth buying.

This game has locked areas and quests for a reason. At the start, you can not farm. After a quest, you can and probably should, to get money and food for buffs, but this part is mostly optional. Much of the grind can be reduced with patience. The game will give you resources, once you get to that part of the story. If you want, you can get pretty good items right at the start with guides. I have played at least 10-15 hours before hacking. All together, I have spent 30 hours on this game. See my forum topic for tips and the hack.

A fair warning to those experiencing slow movement speed in the game. Try changing graphics settings or your computer's cooling. I had my laptop on my lap and the game was slow. Next time I played at my desk (a lot more airflow) and it was too fast. LOL Great game with good story. Kinda repetitive, but challenging till the end. My total play time is 13.5 hours. Tip: If you are far outside a room, you may be able to snipe down enemies without alerting others.

There is an intro and an outro. That's about all the story you get. There are two game modes, normal and one where you can try different characters, but can't unlock any! In normal mode you try and try again, die and start again a lot to gather money to unlock new characters. Enemies are characters that you could potentially possess if your host gets killed, so that you survive longer. If you lose the host, the parasite is VERY vulnerable and you die quickly. There are upgrades you can get and buy. My problem was the second boss. Even when I hacked a savegame to give myself 900 HP instead of the 20 I had, I still died... (For the last boss 8000 HP wasn't enough... Hits you multiple times for -200 HP in a way that you can't escape. Even the superhero host only has 110 HP.) So yeah, you need to either avoid all damage or be very quick about finding a new hosts. I played 7 hours plus 4 after the hack.

No matter how nice this game looks, if it is so easy to die. Slip off a platform, jump a bit too far or too close or miss an attack because of the weird controls. A level can take as long as an hour to complete and if you die near the end you've wasted all that time. This is for perfectionists. I have no patience for it, but someone may find it entertaining.
