Blood 2: The Blood Group

Do people not understand minimum specs?

Works on: Windows (XP, Vista, 8) Do you see 10 mentioned there? No. So why would you moan about it not working on Windows 10 when it clearly says it doesn't work on Windows 10 100% of the reviewers moaning about Windows 10 should be banned from GOG forever. Blood 2 is a great FPS from the golden era when games like Quake 2 and Half Life were on every Big Box shelf. It does nothing new but is a perfectly fine game, well worth a buy when on sale if you are into the late 90s FPS style.

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen

Worst AI in the series... :)

I was delighted with this CC release. The reason is, after so many previous CC games, I would expect they fixed 2 problems - 1st: height and levels, which are essential to determine your line of sight - the map seem to be much more textured now.. Some maps previously annoying are no longer so, because what seemed literally like an flat open field now clearly appears to be ridges. 2nd, and even better - the armor AI seems to be the best ever in the series. Expect your tanks to no longer turn their turrets away when you finally outflanked enemy panzers, no longer get stuck in the bocage 3 meters next to clear paths etc. In short - vastly improved AI make your armor vital. For the buck, this is the best CC game if you don´t have them all already. Otherwise, be aware of the flaws described in the other games such as scroll speeds.

Deathtrap Dungeon

Totally immersive sword and sorcery

Deathtrap Dungeon was ranked at #69 in Ultimate PC's Top 100 Games of All Time list in their 1998 issue. You can play as either Chaindog, who manages some pretty amazing acts of manual dexterity, or as Red Lotus, the heroine armed with a huge sword who certainly knows how to use it. This is a totally immersive world of sword and sorcery, full of atmosphere and things that want to eat you, and is no doubt up there as one of the best games of it's style on the PC.

Forsaken Remastered

One of the top PC games ever made

Liquid smooth graphics, scarily smart enemies, and more gut-wrenching action than Quake II. Ranked at number 10 in Ultimate PC's top 100 games of all time (1998), Forsaken is well worth your time. I would recommend getting the original version and playing it in a PC with a graphics accelerator (a Voodoo card would be ideal), rather than the remastered version.
