I thoroughly enjoyed Simon the Sorcerer, and was set to enjoy its sequel just as much, but as I played I began to notice that I just wasn't having fun. Simon seemed more outright mean than sarcastic, and some of the sexual jokes wandered quite a bit closer to "aggressive sexual behavior" than I was comfortable with (admittedly, I might be oversensitive to this). I also felt like there was a lot of aimless wandering around, trying to figure out what I needed to do or click on. I just couldn't seem to grasp the thread of the plot. Ultimately, I put it down after a week or so of play and I haven't picked it up since, nor have I had any desire to do so. Not only was this game not as good as the first (and the first was VERY good), but it walks a line between mediocre and kind of bad. I'd give this a pass and let Simon's legacy remained untarnished.
