Don't know what these people wanted from this game, it's not a AAA studio. I found the writing pretty good, and pretty funny, and pretty engaging. The combat is good but not great. The characters range from mediocre to good. The environments are *mostly* pretty good, even though some of it is a little visually overwhelming. The gear system is.... frustrating. Levelled gear is almost always frustrating and bad. Overall I have to say I liked it quite a bit and enjoyed playing through it. The comparisons to Fallout 4 are obvious -- the gunplay is a little bit worse, the environments are a little bit worse, and the writing is much, much better. It's not open world, it's a hub system -- and honestly, I like it that way. I feel like everyon'e expectations must have been through the roof for them to be disappointed by this game, I quite liked it and if you snag it while it's on sale, you'll have done good.
do not buy this game if you have something pressing that you need to take care of, because you will ignore to play this game.
