Very fun and crazy game (in the very good meaning of the word)... The puzzles are really refreshing... The design is fantastic... (I love the progress bars of the game) I recommend it absolutly to people who like puzzle game where the engine of resolution is the intuition. It will open your mind. This is the aim of this game. The solution is sometimes out of the box. You have to immerse into the puzzle to solve it and you succeed in with your intuition. Nevertheless, there are two negative points : - the length of the game... a little too short for a so good game - a few bugs or glitches when passing through doors... sometimes (randomly) you can found yourself out of the decor but I hope it will be solved with a patch (restart from the last control point)
Well, what to say about this game ? If this is a gem munkomunk says, it is still a rough gem that needs more polishing and some patches... There are some great issues with the localization... particularly the French localization. This localization is not finished... and I can't read Russian... Sometimes the sentence looks strange (or I don't understand the humour). Moving is sometimes difficult.. you must go left before going forward and you don't know why... You can't change the keys... W stand for forward and it's all. Saving remains random... There's no key to save the game... Nevertheless there is an auto saving but you don't know when it happens... When playing, if you want to quit and come back you'll have to replay what has not been saved... Well, there are some strange things that happens in this game, you meet a Rubik's cube and a Japanese statue but you don't know what to do with and why you get them... Else it seems to be an exploration game without inventory which is strange but playable. For the story... I need to replay the game. I will give another opinion when I will be able to immerse myself better in this game. A note about the story : the introduction movie is cheap...
First of all, I have just bought the game, installed it and played it 5 minutes. I have a very important issue with the system requirements... I haven't already bought this game before because the minimum requirements were intel icore 5 and I have an intel icore 3. And, do you know what, it works fine on my intel icore 3. This is not serious from the developers, GoG and so on. Secondly, this game lacks keys redefinition settings... and even if it does not have key redefinition settings, you do not know the use of the keys as well... How to play if you don't know the keys... Well anyway, the game looks nice, the music looks nice too... I think I will give it some time...
Nice game with strange and addictive story. The puzzles are not very difficult but sometimes look difficult even if the solution is in front of your eyes. The game is not very long but it takes its time to solve it. The only dark point is the achievements… When you try to understand the puzzles and follow the story, you cannot definitively look for the stars of the achievements. Finding the achievement looks like clicking anywhere like in some Hidden Objects Game… But solving the puzzles is more trying to understand what to do and how to solve them… something more intellectual… Maybe to find the achievements you will have to play several times this game… but the puzzles stay the same with no real replay ability… Not very funny… it looks like working ;-)
The graphics are beautiful, the music is nice and fun too, the mood is good (the songs are very good)... I love the self-mockery of the characters of the game. The schnaps recipe was good and its effects too... I thank a lot the developpers to have added French subtittles to the game (even if the French subtittles have to be fixed). I regret that there are no French voices. I can imagine an American accent to Hans Tannauser and the others with a German accent in French. A great regret : too short : 10 hours of gaming only.
It's a nice game and I am surprised to read people complaining about time-based puzzles in this game. I have not finished the game. I am where I can draw three little objets at a time. I can say that, yet, I have met one puzzle where I had to run (to avoid rolling balls) and another one where I had to change quickly the place of an object (I found it easier using a gamepad). There are puzzles you can think that they are time-based but I have been able to solve them placing a cube in the right place and I had not to make my little "hero" run to the exit risking to collapse in a hole. This game is more a puzzle game than a time-based platformer game. When you are in front of a "time-based" puzzle try to find a solution not time-based. It is a ZEN game ;-) I don't give 5 stars because of the perspective problems that make you collapse sometimes and because you can't change completely the keys in the configuration. But apart this, it is nice and not so fustrating.
