Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Season Pass

Package not on sale...

Why are the individual DLC packs for the package on sale, but the season pass itself more expensive and NOT on sale!? Misleading thoughtlessness ends up costing people more for what is supposed to be something convenient, be sure to check the price tags carefully. Also, please name the included DLC packs, bit strange the names aren't included.

Jenny LeClue - Detectivu

A disappointing flop....

When a game delivers a premise and ends without a conclusion, I say it is a waste of time and further attention should be directed elsewhere. Just imagine if a Sherlock Holmes story ended without any sort of conclusion, and you already have some idea of the disappointment you will find if you play this game to the end. Save your money, buy a game that is actually complete.

Prince of Persia

Not including DLC from Consoles

Buyer beware, the games ending is a cliffhanger that only gets resolved from DLC that is only available on console which means that unless you dig up a copy and can still find and purchase this story DLC, you won't be able to complete the games plot.

Vaporum: Lockdown

Secrets are Necessary

Good enough game I suppose, but not so good if you cannot find secrets if you don't like playing with a guide. It's especially disappointing since the secrets hide the more interesting items that do more than raise numbers like a cannon (shotgun) like weapon that does the most damage in the game, but is hidden away. Another disappointing thing I found in my opinion is that though the game acts like a prequel, it doesn't go nearly far enough to show this. Each map will be deserted, not even bodies are left behind like you'd expect, and so the premise is simply a retread that follows the original game too far. It would have been exciting to be looking for survivors and just being too late, or doing more than the usual. But, I did finish the game (using a guide for secrets and certain puzzles) so while the game is fun enough it isn't a proper sequel. If they do make a Vaporum 3 I hope they do more with the genre and gameplay and not just make more of the same.

Iconoclasts

A fantastic immersive experience

An experience that at times is reminiscent of Cave Story's blend of smooth action game-play and compelling interesting story, Iconoclasts can at times stumble with at times confusing direction and some annoying backtracking. But these are minor issues that don't mar the rest of the game and overall I heavily recommend the game to anyone looking for a fun action metroidvania-light with a nice story and great characters.

Neverwinter Nights: Heroes of Neverwinter

Who would buy a portrait?

Especially when you can easily find portrait packs with hundreds of pictures to choose from. Hell, from the store screenshots some of the included portraits aren't even people! Just items or symbols!

Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete

Still Buggy, Still Fun

If I have any recommendations for NWN2, it is this; skip the first campaign and go straight for the other official and fan made modules. The first campaign is riddled with bugs that bring a solid and fun experience to a stop, leaving you half wondering whether you will be able to play without losing hours of progress thanks to undetectable bugs and other issues that have not been addressed, and can still be found unanswered in the games official wiki. It is honestly a shame that an otherwise great callback to the era of Baldurs Gate style RPGs can be so thoroughly ruined thanks to a lack of support for bugs that should have been addressed by now. I cannot speak for the other modules apart from the first, but I hear they are far more well made and enjoyable.
