Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition

Game itself was a mess

But bonus campaign fixed it for me some So 2/3 of a game you have very short missions and A LOT of dialogues. I was trying to read everything, then to read just main words, then I was just skipping dialogs and reading only answers. It was much faster and there are not much interesting details in them anyway. Other thing I do not like is changed advancement screen. It does look good (even if it is more compact than original) and it takes too much time to load it. In fact this game takes a lot more time to load a save than other games of the trilogy. Then there is decking and it is tedious. Thanks gods you can force some things, but even so a lot of times you need to stealth around stuff to not get caught and you will need to load a lot for it. And this game still have bugs, not game breaking, but for some reason I was not able to get best ending when I were able to obtain all of the dialogs and information. But bonus campaign is really fun, missions are long and challenging, dialogs are mostly short and there is no script bugs/ Also I don't like that all armor now have no extra stats, they look different, but they are not different. Why it was made this way...I am not sure.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

Great game, but not without troubles

Well everyone and their dog knows what good in it. But dad are: - Numbers. At times game does not count things properly. Most troubles I had with Essence and Armor. Like some armor will not work and show wrong numbers, and essence count easily breaks when you spend much time reinstalling cyberware. - Story. It is a bit childish, especially at the beginning, first games start was much more serious. But then it bombards you with tons of dialog which is hard to remember and understand, but for some missions yo really need to remember it. - Loading menu when you push F9. it really should just load autosave, not send you to a menu. - I was hoping it is more easy to operate your inventory here, but not too much, still lots of separate menus. And there is also a bug. allowing you to have one more weapon if you gather it on mission. It just goes in nonexistent 4th slot (in my case). And still I've finished this game, thanks gods, that was a mess, but I've done all the optional missions and the ending was...not interesting at all.

Shadowrun Returns

Shadowrun in a nutshell

You will get your basic experience from it. It is linear and this is just fine, this game is short enough to not get tired from it, to stay fun and interesting along the way. Can't say the same about other games of this trilogy tho

Nox™

I don't like this game

Yes it has good music and ok visuals for a time, but controls are frustrating and story just trolls you. Half of the game I was able to make, but after stupid npc escorting mission I was done. I don't like controls, I don't like stuff breaking left and right, I don't like story and lore, I don't like most of voice acting too. Yes it have some interesting mechanics, like that you can move all the objects on screen and use it to solve some environmental puzzles, or when you break a wall in the crypt bunch of bones and sculls roll around. But I think I've seen enough.
