Blade of Darkness Demo

It works but...

...not too good. Controls are weird, reaction time is a bit strange and I was not able to gather the torch in practice level for some reason

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Not as good as previous game

So basically there are a lot of awful uncomfortable things. No, not the animations. Mainly it is: Too long time to transfer from one half of a city to another. And you will do it A LOT cause quests demand it. One time I get quest to go back to one part of the city right after this looooong subway trip. And also once similar situation was right after I waited ton of time to gown down the elevator. Also you don't really need whole THREE stations for one of the halves. Half of main dialogs skippable, half - not. And you need to listen to a half of it again if you wish to replay it. Too much lootable objects. This game is tiny in comparison, but it wastes your time for no good reason too much for my taste. It just created...wrong somehow, there are other stuff that are uncomfortable, but they are small. And yet they are many. *** Other than all of that the game is..ok, nothing special

Siege of Avalon: Anthology

This game is too "old"...

even for older games standards. Too much unnecessary NPCs, uninteresting story, boring gameplay and leveling/stats system, not much to look at visually and not much to listen to audially. Well, it's cheap and it shows, think it was cheap even back then. Can not really like this game, I've seen much better back then and now. I've tried, and...even with cheats it is just a mess

Xanadu Next

Good old game

A little bit Ys, a little bit Diablo-like. A bit basic fantasy action-rpg. Good mechanics, good graphics (for it's time, but still better anti-aliasing needed), ok music... Story is just normal fantasy story with some interesting moments (maybe if I were playing other games I will find it more interesting). I wonder if other games of Xanadu/Dragon Slayer series will find their way to gog.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

Good, but

Too many enemies Trade menu is uncomfortable Too many stuff you don't really need (items and abilities) Most bullet-spongiest last boss ever So basically game is old But still have interesting story and visuals, glad I've done it, even if with cheats for last part of a game

Tokyo Xanadu eX+

It's like Persona, but not at all

So.... They done good. But not everything. Story may have been a bit better (especially normal ending). Script too (especially some over the top anime-like dialogues... You don't really need to name everyone on screen each time). And yes, there are too many labyrinths and not enough unique. And still it is solid game with good mechanics and story. But they can do better

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories

This game...it's better and it's worse

Is is less consistent then first game even. And any other games in series. It has less mechanics but still have lots of mechanics you don't really need. But it have wide variety of situations related to the real world. And the story over all feels more real. Even if some things are too ridiculous. And in lots of times you can do nothing to make in-game situation better. But at least here city will not be destructed completely for no reason. It hits hard. It is stupid. It is beautiful and interesting. It is clunky and raw. And yet it was released. And I don't know what to think. Hope they will do more with this game series in a future.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA

Best Ys Ever

Literally. Deepest and longest story. Best graphically and mechanically. Everything is just perfect... Even if some stuff is still very JRPG/Anime-like, but I am fine with it for the most part. I can not add much, but it is very new experience for series. And it have some old stuff from Ark of Napishtim and such. If you like the series you should play this one. If you like action JRPGs you should play this one too. And now I just want some art from the game...and soundtrack...and...we'll see.

Seven: Enhanced Edition

Not a bad game...

But I can't. Yes, I love parkour and stealth in this game and it was fun for a while just sneaking everywhere. But. Enemies not really good at spotting you and will not be searching for you for too long. And if you fight them they are not really good ether, Well, this is not something bad actually. And. Basically you can cheese any enemy. Not fast may be, but it will not be hard. And I have not used any abilities or consumable items at all. Once I tried to use a grenade and it have done close to none damage. So I just cheese enemies with double daggers stun and polymer crossbow. Also. There are a lot or garbage loot in this game and crafting system that is not needed. And if there are a lot of loot in a game there should be some traders. But they have close to none money and you end up with a bunch of loot. And you don't really need money for something. And you also do not need this upgrade recipes. And other "action-rpg fillers". But exploring was fun. For some time. Then I stopped enjoying same jumps and climbs and avoiding different enemies in same manner all the time. And it is not like there were no different things here and there, but I've definitely seen it a lot elsewhere. Why I really dropped this game? Well, there is a quest in which you go to several locations collecting parts of code. It was too long by itself, but when I came to a door where I should use this code I were not remembering a thing and also there were no record left of this code pieces. Do it all again? Nah, I'm good. I had enough fun so this is it.
