SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech

Hidden gem

I have played every game in the steamworld series, and this one is my favorite by a long shot. I'm currently in stage 13 of 19 and im absolutely in love with this game. I'm playing the game blind and i expected some kind of slay the spire clone, but this is a full on jrpg, instead of using commands you use a very fun and original card system, you have a lot of options for deckbuiilding, there are a lot of cards and some have combo bonuses with other characters. The music is absolute fire, and i feel they had some inspiration from jrpgs, specially from the 3ds era, i just bought it. The characters are diverse, interesting, colourful, fun, multidimensional. The game has multiple translations, i'm playing it in spanish and the localization is surprisingly good, generally spanish is one of the languages with more localization problems, specially with jrpgs (atlus and square are pretty bad at this). I'm pretty sure this is the biggest and more customizable steamworld game and is not even 10usd and 1gb of storage. Absolutely must buy. Also it works like a charm in batocera.

Ion Fury

Great Game

if the game crashes when changing setting on linux just close the game and run this on console one time: chmod 777 /home/`whoami`/.config/fury/fury.cfg Great retro shooter with multiple paths to finish a level.

The Outer Worlds

A must play for wrpg fans

I reallllly love this game, except for the abrupt ending that kinda came too quickly, but still it had me hook for two weeks straight. it has memorable characters, diverse gameplay for melee and ranged, great building options and a multitude of ways to resolve problems. It feels a bit short at the end, which i hope they fix with the new dlcs. 9/10 Also don't enter expecting a super serious story like fallout, this is not fallout, it has the humor of a marvel movie, guys

Slay the Spire

i first played this on the switch

and is one of my favorite roguelik(t)es, very simillar to into the breach as your main objective is to avoid the intention of your enemies while attacking at the same time, also has A LOT of customization like ITB and very interesting daily challenges
