These kind of experiences come so very rarely. Story kept me going from the beginning until the end and I was gladly surprised about the length of the game. It was also the most unusual surprise as pretty much everything was better than I even hoped for. Mechanically game is very well done. I didn't encounter any bugs at all, the animations were _superb_ and it had very distinct style all the way. Music was another really cool thing which fit the game perfectly. Install on an SSD if possible! Only gripe with the game for me were the transitions from room to room, as they seem to load quite a lot of information. I tried it with a normal HDD but it really was quite horrible experience. SSD changed that totally and was able to enjoy it fully.
So, to anyone not knowing Telltale by their issues and to those that know of these already, Telltale's total disregard to technical issues in their games is still going strong. Pushing out game after game with no fixes to the stuttering and lag problems on multiple platforms. This continues that series. No matter how good the game could be in the end or what story there could be - if it's unplayable by a big percentage of people there is no way to give more than one star.
Me, as like many others on forums am having scaling issues with the game making it 100% unplayable. Mouse offset is so huge it's impossible to change any settings to even lower the scaling (which appears to be the problem). Extremely poorly made because this has been reported often and devs don't care.
Absolutely fantastic from the start to finish. Really kept me scratching my head for ways to finish the missions which there were more of than I actually anticipated. Took me a long time to finish and for not-so-hardcore player like myself the difficulty was just on the edge of being able to finish. But every time I really hit a bump it was just my own fault, and when doing the same thing the next day I suddenly found a way out of the difficult situation very easily. All about keeping your mind fresh :) Buy it. Really. Worth every penny if you're into puzzle/strategy, and you really can play it just at your own pace which I really enjoyed. Doesn't hurry you up at any point. The characters are also nicely varied and the game really does use every single skill at your disposal.
I just loved the game. Puzzles are nice and you really gotta think at many points. Atmosphere is just amazing. The whole black and white with very smooth animation makes it such a joy to play. Definitely worth every penny of the price :) And no, it's not too short. Not every game needs to take hours and hours on end. Better quality than quantity.
