Warlords Battlecry 2

Hidden Gem

One of the greatest RTS games!

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura

Flawed Masterpiece

There are clearly a number of things wrong with this game, the animation style, the game balance, the combat, unless you cheat technology builds are often non-viable, AND YET this game is a Brilliant Masterpiece nonetheless. There are very few games that can compare to it in terms of story, setting, choices, well written engaging dialogue, clever social satire, intriguing areas to explore, and a sense of consequences for your choices. The closest thing I can compare this to is Fallout 2, if you liked Fallout 2 this is that but in a steampunk fantasy setting.

This Game is Amazing

There hasn't been a game like this in a really long time. Oh sure I love Disgaea, but it's more of a light hearted parody of this type of game, breaking the fourth wall and using intentional videogame absurdity. This game doesn't, it's a serious tactical RPG that reminds me very much of Final Fantasy Tactics and I love it. I really hope we get more from this franchise, a DLC, a Sequel, a Stand Alone Expansion, I don't care I'll buy it. I've been starved for a game like this for literally decades!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance – From the Ashes

It's a great DLC

I wish I had gotten the game on GoG instead of steam, especially since there's no workshop support. Anyway this is a great little DLC. The devs originally had no plans for it, but people kept expressing interest in the forums, so they made it. How cool is that? It's definitely worth $10, it's a nice expansion to the game that adds a lot of enjoyment and makes gameplay more rewarding.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Quests Options Abound

Many reviews talk about the flexibility of the combat system, and while it's true that you can combine magics in all sorts of interesting ways, or not magics in all sorts of interesting ways, this game is so much more than a combat system. The amount of variety when solving quests is simply astounding. Not only do you get meaningful decisions through dialogue, allowing you to talk your way through a great many encounters, but you can complete quests in some truly unexpected ways. Like, just at the very beginning when you're tasked with getting past Fort Joy, there are about a dozen different ways to do it.
