I don't mind the grind fest much, as its done with enjoyable pixel art. But between the woodcutter giving me vegan talking points, a hand maid saying "The cows are our friends" and the bishop telling me, a stranger "well, I guess I should go do this 'thing', I have to represent Him and stuff", its just politically preachy and religiously insulting. Stopped playing and regretted purchasing this game when the talking donkey says he can't call me "comrade" any more because I've built up the areas your suppose to and become "an evil capitalist". And instead of bringing me bodies, he defecates on the main road, which I "get" to clean up, nah, I'll pass.
G.O.G. review guidelines ask that reviewers let the game stand for its self, however I believe it is my duty as a long time gamer to inform potential customers of Playtonic Games recent actions of removal of negative comments and reviews of this tittle following the removal of JonTron's voice acting piece from this tittle. Many of us posted comments, concerns and justified criticisms on Playtonic Games forums, Twitter and Steam only to be answered with censorship by Playtonic Games who deleted our posts. I refuse to support Playtonic Games subtle attack on gamers and the gaming community/industry, and sadly will not purchase a game I was looking forward to playing.
