Lets get the most obvious problem out of the way first, the graphics are really, really bad! But Graphics doesn't matter it's gamplay. You'll find a fun vampire slaying game here. Also it's not scary, needs a more forboding atmosphere and less vicars falling out of windows.
Only just obtained this game today (as I type this) and i am impressed with how different this is to most RPGs, it's difficult, it WILL frustrate you, but the small details, the unique combat and feel of this game is well worth the price. A huge part of it's charm is the physics. Characters react to surfaces and objects, you can trip over a small stone randomly which is a laugh out loud moment. And as an added bonus being able to play Buckaroo with your character never gets old. DON'T be put off straight away, keep at it and you will truly enjoy this amazingly unique game. Good: Physics Gameplay Bad: combat at times can be taxingly difficult Ugly: Some of the hair style choices... mushroom top anyone?
Many, many moons ago I happened to come across this game in a car boot sale one rainy Sunday afternoon. Not a fan of RPGs at that time of my life I wasn't expecting much from an over head RPG. But Boy was in for a surprise! The interface was easy to understand, the interactivity with the NPCs was great, the turn based combat was fantastic, It had a great back story which I'm not going into as I'm too lazy to talk about it. The 50's Sci-fi, Post-apocalyptic setting really adds to Fallout's charm and the overall feel of the game feels just right. So what if by today's standards the game looks old and isn't in 3D It's the game-play that will win you over! Truly worth the asking price so why wait, get your copy of Fallout today! Don't forget your radiation suit.... you'll need it out there in the Vast wasteland!
