Decent adventure game. Stunning graphics, and the art-style is great as well. I think the main characters were on the dull side, and a lot of the puzzles dragged out needlessly long. Some illogical ones as well. The music and voice acting was decent enough as well. Ea 3/5. Well worth the playthrough.
This is how EA kills franchises. They buy them, and then release half-finished products and hope to soak up some money via the franchise name. This is a buggy mess of a game where the writers seemed to have little interest in keeping with the lore and story of the rest of the series. The whole product is amateurish from start to finish. R.I.P Ultima.
The skill system, the combat and all that is great in this game. I also loved how your stats, gender, race and background all offered some different options in conversations. They really delivered the R in RPG in this game. Where it kind of lost me a bit was the story and the NPCs. It all felt rather generic, and it just didn't hold my interest much. Most of the NPCs I found to be rather on the dull side as well. Nothing memorable or anything like that. Still. I would absolutely recommend this one to every rpg fan out there. But it isn't the best rpg I have ever player. But far from the worst either. 3/5
