Evoland is Shiro Games' love letter to the RPGs they grew up with, but not a whole lot else. It's simply a guided tour of classic JRPG tropes and graphical styles, and while it's charming and cute, it's not a good game. If you love JRPGs and can get it on sale for a buck or two it's worth looking at, but otherwise you shouldn't bother.
