It doesn’t deliver anything truly innovative, and the mechanics it borrows often feel badly implemented. I heard that it has anti-cheat even in its single-player mode, like even kicking other GoG buyers out of the game for using a third party controller - that’s indefensible in a singleplayer offline game and doubly so for game preservation, it has no right to be on GoG... That anti-cheat issue didn’t affect my score—my score was already at rock bottom. The game is cheap? Even at extreme sale price it’s too much. The devs should pay you to play it, let alone keep it in your library.

Fantastic, I didn't expect it to be so hassle-free! Like I just launched and it worked! Although I'm on low level pc (7730u/Vega8) so I had to google how to change settings since the ingame menu is abscent - all you need to do is to launch the fallout launcher in install folder. Would've appreciated if the settings were set at something like medium by default since there's not much visual differences but 2x performance boost.

It's a dev that makes shovelware for scamming people with random key packs and high discounts. None of the games are actually finished, finishable or sometimes even playable. I accidently bought it before because it looks cool, but in fact I wasn't even able to play one of them. Fortunatly GoG provided a refund for me (bless them). Also I don't believe people that gave it 5 stars aren't bots or payed to review. How come 47% of reviews 5 stars and 45% 1 stars - while 2-4 stars are 2% each...

Comparing no NV is pointless - the writing and even WORLDBUILDING is miles aheead in NV. Comparing to 3 - it has better equipment/weapon system. New perk tree is also awesome. But the writing got worse. If in 3 it was like Okay, it's just some backwater, in other parts of the world the world is different - the 4 answers no, it's the same everywhere. I mean 200 years have passed and everyone is living as if the bomb dropped yesterday? I would understand if they just exited the shelters, but they have been leeving like that for at least a hundred of years. And even the trees and other flora/fauna remained the same as 200 years ago - no overgrowing green lascape, everything is very barren as if the bombs dropped yesterday... Also no biodiversity in the fauna - you will not find anything new compared to F3/FNV, all samely old. The only positive thing is that after playing fallout 4 I have gained a desire to reply the Prey. just something about 2004-like game environment have given me a desire to relaxy in some immersive sim xD As for fallout 4 it's a solid 4/100 game. 1 point for equipment system, 1 point for weapon system, 1 point for the perk tree and 1 game for the game actually kinda being playable with no major glitches or crashes (of course there's a lot of minor ones, but at least the game is kinda stable which is already a lot for this dev xD) my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

So I tried this mod since everything looks a bit "2004" on the vanilla version and I wanted a bit sharper textures - but hell if I cannot see the difference. Like I'm on 4k with ultra texture in the settings and everything looks just as smooth and without details as it used to. Litteraly nothing changed - but my pc now got heavy shutter (I'm on a previous-gen rig. i7-11700K + RX 6950 XT). Like it was smooth before but now it's barely playable... So yeah, the only thing it makes sharp is your framegraph, everything else remains as smooth and undetailed as before...
