Everything + Pink Floyd = Goodbye Weekend
Why would a developer create something so magical only to ruin it by releasing a broken game? This game treads a thin line on occasion between genius and mind numbing tedium. When an innocent icon supposedly designed to allow me to "rest" on the road is actually a "skip this entire section of game" button, forcing me to replay a very dull section of game which then proceeds to freeze, again forcing me to replay the same damn section or accept not experiencing a huge chunk of game. Well, suddenly my wonder, enjoyment and immersion in an otherwise incredibly engaging, original and hauntingly creative game becomes absolute RAGE at the idiots who allowed it to happen. Seriously, it's like being taken to the gates of Disneyland only to be driven away again. Probably getting deleted now 'cause, frankly, i'd rather f@cking U-tube the highlights than waste my time investing any more emotion in this. Gutted, because this was very special.
Simply the most fun you can have in front of a computer with your pants still on! The franchise that gave us dildo bats returns for the finest installment of the lot. Third is the ultimate refinement (if you can use that word to describe a SR game) of all that made Saint's Row such fun to play. An absoute blast of a game from first to last. Including three full length DLC chapters for even more hours of mindbending frolicks, more customisation options than you could ever want, an obscene variety of weapons (and i do mean obscene) SR3 reminds us of a time when it was actually OK to have simple, stoopid, laugh out loud FUN playing video games. Irreverent, naughty, hilarious and actually damn fine gaming. Even the Soundtrack ranks amongst the fines ever in a game. Including every DLC this is an absolute STEAL if you've never played it, and absolutely worth having in any collection even if you've played it to death like me... Some of the most fun you'll ever have playing a video game.
