As a avid cRPG-fan I bought it as soon as it was out. However in retrospect I was not terribly impressing by the liveliness and immersion of the game world, especially not as this game claimed to be the sucessor to Baldurs Gate 2. In that sense it did not deliver for sure. I never really played multiplayer, so I cannot comment on that. Neverwinter Nights 2, especially the incredible first addon Mask of the betrayer is a far worthier successor to BG2. I also started playing the first addon, but was bored quite quickly, as I recall.
