How many polygons does it take to both blow your mind and soil your undies? Precisely as many as found in this game. It's best played alone in a low lit room, to maximize the atmosphere and cut down the number of witnesses to your inevitable girlish screams. You can't call yourself a true PC gamer and not play this game.
I know it's amazing that this game used to be considered 'high end' graphically; but it is worth the struggle to aclimate to it's ancient conventions. Flying around on the titular carpet still provides a genuine sense of freedom. One of the earliest game to embrace 'mouse look', it's control scheme was years ahead of the industry.
