METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE

Very happy for it to be on GOG but...

it's the same Port as Steam, no update whatsoever, Recomend using Flawless Widescreen and MGROverride_1.1 patch to fix it's 1080p resolution limit. Limitations aside, can confirm Achievements are working on second day after it's release on GOG and no glitches or crashes on my end so far. The game as most of us informed gamers know it's amazing, from soundtrack, gameplay and even visuals to some degree, camera issues and short content aside it's still a great game, it's pure Platinum hack n slash of the likes we just don't see any more (aside from Bayonetta 3) from an era of kings like Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry.

Fort Solis

Very good average game

The story is very well told with fenomenal voice acting and pacing mixed with hidden records, details here and there, Emails and videos to complement the gaps and what at first seems ambigouos it becomes more clear if you put all things together. Graphics are quite impressive mostly on the characters models and animation work, some negatives would be lack of Ray Tracing although Screen Space Reflections looks decent enough and the hair that even though it's quite detail it doesn't move at all. Now the big negative is, well, forced walking, it's meant to build up tension and it works for the most part but it could had been added a button for faster walking or slow jog depending on the area explored, there is also no gameplay elements, no big puzzles, no shooting, no melee combat, some quick time events that change nothing even if failed aside from just one and this is probably the bigest turn off for most gamers. With that said, I was not disapointed and enjoyed it for what it is and it's price tag but many won't feel the same.

Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition

Overall nice game. WARNING Game crashes

BE WARNED Game crashes at start up, 2024 issue, it was fine before. GOG version only it seems. I haven't found a fix yet. The game is nice, pretty graphics aside from the facial animations, art style is quite unique, the shooting doesn't feel as smooth like other games to me but still pretty decent with several types of weapons, the story didn't click much with me and the activities get a little repetitive even more so than Ubisoft old formula games but overall I'd say it's still quite a nice game overall in small doses from time to time.

Kao the Kangaroo - A Well Good Bundle

Keep in mind it's a budget game

It's quite fun and vey pretty overall during gameplay, cutscenes leave much to be desired due to it's low budget so animation quality in those moments is almost non existing, I offen find myself skipping them even though the voice acting is fine the story is just kinda there with some old humour thrown in it... Gameplay is fun and responsive enough, feels like a Crash Bandicoot but on easy mode and more open like a Spyro game with Hubs and connections to each level. Overall I'm enjoying it quite a bit in a casual way but don't expect it to be on a Crash Bandicoot or Spyro Remasters level of good.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Digital Deluxe Edition

Don't skip side quests they are worth it

Although this entry feels unfinished leaving on a cliffhanger unlike Human Revolution, the side quests quality, amount of secrets to find and detail to each place surpass it's previous entry. I had no issues with the game aside from some random crashes something I had issue back on PS4 as well. I recomend playing this on a good SSD, it will smooth the frame rate big time, it's a night and day difference for me when I instaled it on my Samsung 980Pro.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director’s Cut

Sci Fi at it's best

By far one of my favorite classics back from the Xbox 360 era, stands right beside Mass Effect for me. Expect conspiracy, stealth gameplay or guns blazing. Side quests are almost as interesting as the main quests. I could go on about it but hey! grab it on sale and try it out, if you like this short of games you probably won't be disapointed.
