Having played the original Fallouts (1 and 2) I was very skeptical (Isolinear RPG v. First Person shooter). That being said I was pleasantly surprised. I do not like the constant need to repair armor and weapons in the game (Fallout 4 I believe gets it better in this area) but other than that this went way beyond my expectations. DC was rendered excellently. The bleakness approached Fallout 1 standards (is that a compliment?) Great game on so many levels. Truely a classic. Highly recommended.
