Fallout 1 was a great experience, with two bad points: not large enough and time limited. Fallout 2 fixed it: it's HUGE, and has no time limit. But to say that those are the only two expansions would be unfair. The story, characters, fights, quests, humour, etc, etc - everything is better. After finishing every quest and exploring everything I still wanted more. I finished it 5 times with different characters and probably wouldn't be bored playing it sixth time. From time to time, a great game happens, but after the hype is gone, none of them beats Fallout 2 - all those new graphically beautiful games are fun, but they fade away quickly, the titles become hard to remember, unlike real gems like F2. For the young players: if you think Fallout 3 is great, play and finish F2. If you didn't change your mind, then something is very wrong. And not with the games.
