Apart from a few defects on visibility of the main character, the game is nice enough to see and hear. The mechanics offered are good and have amused me enough to get through to the end. The proposed narrative has some unexpected tricks up its sleeve that involved me for most of my session. Batbarian is a well-made exploratory platformer/Metroidvania, capable of giving several hours of fun thanks to some out-of-the-ordinary mechanics and a satisfying narrative. Aesthetics: Pleasant visuals, but weak sound design. Gameplay: There are great mechanics and interesting ideas too, but all of this is undermined by fluctuating quality of the levels and the uninspiring artificial intelligence. Narrative: There is not a good story to follow and the comedy proposed did not amuse me. Despite a resolute effort, S.W.I.N.E. ends up being a game I do not enjoy.
