The game truly has a charm and I like what they dared to do with it. It has appealing visuals and art (even without "real" animation), mystery mixed with humour, some happy some sad moments, memorable characters, and of course - the heavyweight lifter - the music. Some of the audio mixing & syncing was a bit questionable, but it's really great what they did - mixing all the different melodies and flavours. All-in-all a great experiment- I mean, experience :)
The game has great bow + magic gameplay, rewarding collectibles, charming voice acting, nice visuals, and amazing soundtrack. The story is very intriguing (with unexpected spins on "substories") - but the ending may make you want for more. Crafting felt very smooth, but the morality system - whilst fun and rewarding - was too easily messed up at its highest level and made you repeat 3 tasks all over again. Devs must have poured their hearts into this game, and I really enjoyed my playthrough - with all its highs and lows. Recommend giving it a spin.
The game was fun. Story was a bit generic Sci-Fi corporate dystopia with some humour (think Borderlands). Music was fitting. VO was great, characters well written (though with a severe lack of PC romance). As for the gameplay; interesting concept with the (optional) stealth sections, time dilation for combat is always cool, branching dialogues / problem solving. Vertical movement though was terribly implemented: low jumps, issues with uneven terrain, and annoying ladders. Level limit is also too low in my opinion (so I'd recommend modding - in lieu of Spacer's Choice Edition). All-in-all solid product from Obsidian, though going mainstream / 3D - as opposed to isometric - makes the writing (and its scope) suffer a bit.
