Memoria

Highly recommended

I love the story and the twist. Don't watch trailers and stuff, just play it. One thing I didn't like about the seies is the main character (the guy) itself ... for some reasons I didn't find him charismatic. I think because his look reminded me of a guy I hate.

Broken Sword: Director's Cut

Flashback

The first time I played this on a demo cd back in that ... time ... you know. I like the plot, the tiwst and the characters. Everything was perfectly set. I bought this game not long ago and yes, it makes "fun".

Jagged Alliance

Flashback

My very first game for PC. I bought GTA because of a demo but then realised that it did not run on my 486 machine. I hated this day. Then I just traded with a guy in my class (we became best friends for long time after that). He gave my Jagged Alliance, never heard of it. But better than a nonworking game. Boy ... this game was so nice. Especially if you are young and you have something like imagination. The very first surprise when your soldiers sunk in the river because of the snake or because their endurance went down. Epic. I never knew exactly what to do and how to use the equipment but still could finish it. For some reason didn't have the same luck in JA2.

Evil Genius

Could be Epic

The idea of this game was fresh and unwasted. I liked it a lot. I liked the stealing and hunting and protecting of your base. The research was nice, the interrigation of enemy spies. But there are some really annoying decisions in the game mechanics which made it not that good: you can not actively give the units orders. I finished it only for sake of completeness. My biggest issue were the stupid guards. The enemy entered my isle and just before they entered my base, one of my missions were accomplished and my guards were leaving the helicopter (or whatever it was). And yes, they did not try to shoot the enemies, they tried to bring the loot into the base. As you can imagine ... all my guards were killed trying to bring the loot inside. Similar situations started to repeat ... if the enemies took an weird way into your base, sometimes your guards couldn't handle it. But as I said: one playthrough for low price is okay.
