Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon - Golgotha

Sub-par add-on

The campaign is extremely weak, consisting of a short series of puzzle-like missions in which the player *has* to solve each one the way the mission designer envisaged it, otherwise failure becomes a certainty. Similar to the main game, each mission has an artificial turn limit set frustratingly low, enough to suppress any attempt at creativity or enjoyment outside the one and only way the mission is supposed to be played and won. Consistent with the limited production value of the whole add-on, the unit roster is severely limited with very few new units to choose from and deploy. The final nail in the coffin is the game-crashing bug at the end of mission 6 'We've run into a bit of a delay' which prevents the campaign from advancing; the error message lists 'invalid vector subscript (0)', 'Struct exception with code 0x80000003 (0)' as the source of the problem, whatever that means. To be avoided.
