JDM is an unpolished game made by a little studio with big ambitions. If you don't mind the bugs and performance issues, you should give it a try. A ster warning though, even on easier difficulties, this game might be frustrating. Getting better cars means to grind optional activities such as sushi deliveries and street races. Overall, I have high hopes for this game and wait for the promised updates in the next few months.
Paradox released the game pretty much unfinished and they pledged to release constant patches and updates to improve the game. I can't say they did a terrible job but it was something nonetheless. Now, they announced the Marius 2.0 update which had huge improvements UI/UX and army wise. Guess what, almost every Imperator: Rome player was waiting for this new update which released on 16th of February 2021... on Steam and Paradox Plaza. They treat the GOG gamers as second class citizens. It's like they compile the release code a few hours before the release and upload it to GOG/Steam... At the end of the day, some mod on Paradox forum said that there are some technical difficulties and "maybe" the update will be released tomorrow!! Well, thanks Paradox for great support. But maybe they will release the update later on GOG, because it's DRM-free and the big bad pirates will have to wait a few days. We get punished for choosing a less popular store.
