D.I.G. - Deep in Galaxies is a very fun 2D platformer with roguelite elements, focused on digging, shooting and melee combat mechanics. It's a simple game, but it's not simplistic. The mechanics are satisfying to use and master, especially when you increase your mobility using the grappling hook, which is part of your base moveset. The roguelite elements include the generation of stages, different items that show up during a run, item unlocks, etc. I'm not exactly a fan of most roguelikes/roguelites, but I keep coming back to this one. It's just so immediately fun to pick it up and play. RNG can obviously hurt or help your odds of winning, but with okay gaming abilities you can get far and even win without depending on specific combos of items and skills. However, some OP combos are also there, in case you need them. I wholeheartedly recommend D.I.G. - Deep in Galaxies, it's definitely a gem.
