Its boots... The sounds are MS-DOS low quality, doesnt play with the xbox gamepad(when remapping buttons, you can press on the gamepad for UP DOWN LEFT and RIGHT but it must use joystick anyhow) and has a weird frame rate. Would not recommended.
Pretty much like Wizardry but too much RNG. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! YOU NEED A GUIDE TO COMPLETE THIS GAME! Most if not all the dungeons requires a somekind of Thief to discover secret walls, even having a Thief its random that you may discover it!!!! The ability to discover secret walls, like in every Might and Magic game, is not stated ANYWHERE in the manual nor in the game!! The problem with this is that is Random that your Thief can even tell you theres a secret wall! The 2nd dungeon and onwards, you NEED TO DISCOVER THOSE WALLS or you will never EVER progressed! Remember, its random if it can be detected! Ive spent almost 4 hours roaming around until I got a guide from STEAM and even though I knew where the wall was, I had to look at it several times until my Thief detect it! Sincerely, I cant recommend a game that just waste your time and treats the customer as a dumbass.
illusion of Choice And this is what TellTaleGames are know for. You can do as much tangent as you want in their games, is just a matter of how you got to point B. Your choices only matter for a certain chapter. So, if you are willing to pay this price for a movie, then fine.
Terrible terrible game on PC. Technical problems goes from the game not running if you download the .exe to even having camera problems all the time. By the reviews, theres a high chance the game might not run for you and you will have to go through the technical support for your money back. The game has aged but it has no support from GOG nor from Lucas Studios (now run by Disney). Avoid this at all cost.
Buyers BEWARE! Right now theres a bug where you cant see your total gold for upgrading your guild! You use gold, earned from adventures and completing them, tom get more classes and trinkets. I would avoid this title. Right Ive posted a question about it. Been about 2 hrs since this review and no answer. Buy at your own discretion.
The premise does sound nice but the execution lacks a lot to be desire. First of all, you only have one week to search for clues and a radio, the problem being that in one week of game time is not enough to search the whole town for all the clues. Second, to search a place, be a house or a "special place"(Stores, Banks, Warehouses, etc.) you have to "breach" the place as in "break in". The problem here is that theres is now way to indicate if that place is actually safe. You can send a survivor to "Investigate" but most time it will give you the wrong numbers of zombies inside a house In every play through, a survivor would tell that the special place had 0-3 zombies, just after breaching, my survivors ends up getting a game over or getting killed because actually it had 11-20 zombies... SO every time you breach it boils to a game of chance of how many survivors are going to get killed or get a game over. Feels like every breach is just like picking a Chance card from Monopoly, it could be good but in this game most of the cards are bad or kills 1-5 survivors. The game as it is looks like now, it leaves everything to chance, too much to chance. The game wants you to take it slowly but if you do you wont the to the chopper rescue, if you take it fast, theres a high probability that a any breach (even the first breach you do) can get you a game over. Wait for a sale or wait until they fix the game.
Here some specs: Highly recommend using a Logitech controller. You will have some problem with binding keys with the Xbox controller. Menus stuff are not saved automatically. You need to set menu stuff everytime you start the game. Go to menu and set the quality to 4 to experienced the best quality. Remember to edit the Turbo speed. I set it to 6. If you have the PS2 Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, do know that game has the SFA2 Gold and regular SFA2. I have not yet encountered any problem so far in this version other than what I have stated. Other thing that bothered me was the 2 players vs stuff. The game throws you to this black screen background with all the character heads to choose your char instead of the normal stuff of arcade mode. Would I recommend this game? If you cant get a hold of SFA2 Gold and if you cant but you have a Logitech Controller, the yes I would highly recommend this game.
