Tropico 6

This game has a game breaking bug...

And the devs don't consider it a priority issue to fix this bug. Here is a breakdown of this bug: https://steamcommunity.com/app/492720/discussions/0/3344417553439691247 Here is the reply from the CM: https://www.gog.com/forum/tropico_6/el_presidente_welcomes_you_to_paradise/post22 That is truly pathetic and reason enough why no one should buy this game.

Transport Fever

This Game is Good but Flawed

Overall, Transport Fever offers what a transport based game requires. Multiple types of freight and multiple options to transport the freight. However, the major problem this game has is balance. Especially when it comes to the prices and upkeep between trains and everything else. For trains, not only do you have to purchase and pay upkeep for the locomotives but also the carts that are used to transport the freight. The problem is that the upkeep required for these carts are far more than trucks/busses when compared to speed and amount of freight that the carts/trucks/busses can haul. This is the same for planes. This means that until the very late game, trains are completely inferior to the other options when it comes to earning money. Yes, trucks/busses are far slower... but the cash rolls in MUCH easier than with trains, which defies logic. If these issues were fixed then I would highly recommend this game. However, considering other transport-based game options, this game isn't worth the price.

Censorship on the Steam forums

This game is getting ravaged extremely hard over on Steam. It just hit 38% approval rating and has lost 80% of it's playerbase on Steam since it's launch three weeks ago. However, the savagery of the reviews is justified as people are sick and tired of Paradox's tactics of release a new bare-boned, bug infested game then patch it over time and release multiple overpriced DLC's per year to make the game cost $300+ in the end. Well, the dev today just turned the Steam forums to owner only because he didn't want to see anymore criticism of this game. He went full snowflake. When any company censors discussion about a game, it shows that they have no want to actually listen to the potential community. Now past users can't give their opinions on the game. And potential customers can't ask questions about the game. Only the fanboys and the dissenters that actually own the game will be able to talk about the game. That flame war will continue into stagnation rather than accepting new people into the fold. But, Paradox did this to themselves.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition

Avoid this game until its fixed

I love D&D type games and after watching a vid of this game since I had never heard of it before, I was sold. However, I should've watched more of them before I bought this so I could've save my money. This game is great. Great character building options. Great graphics. Great faithful adherence to the D20 system in 3.5 edition of D&D. Sounds great so far.... then comes the combat. To be more specific, the balancing. It's quite possibly on the level of broken. First, the dedicated encounters are all over the place in difficulty. Some are cake walks. Others are on the level of completely broken. For instance, a mob that has 20 AC with a 10 damage resist and high combat stats at level two that can destroy a party easily even on the easiest difficulty level. Then there's the random encounters difficulty spikes. Some are within the player's level like four skeletons for a four person level two party. Then some are completely broken like a werewolf for a the same party at level three who had only one weapon that could even touch the werewolf. It's broken. If this game didn't have the balancing issues I would give this 4 stars easily. But, it's almost completely broken to play so it gets a 1. IF they fix these issues then I will change my review. Until then, I highly recommend you stay away from this game and play either Pillars of Eternity 1 or Tyranny instead.
